The Global Futures Scholarships 2022 application is open to interested and qualified African students that want to study in University of Manchester.


The University of Manchester is proud to award a total of £ 300,000 in scholarships to 30 international students who began their studies in September 2022.


In addition, scholarships are open to master’s students from selected African developing countries to support tuition fees.

Internship Details:

The University of Manchester awards £ 5,000 and £ 10,000 merit-based master scholarships to international students residing in African countries of Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Southern Africa, respectively.

The University of Manchester is proud to offer a total of over £ 1.7 million in scholarships to international students starting their studies in September 2022.

Global Futures Scholarships Duration and Benefits

  • 30 awards worth £ 10,000 will be awarded based on academic excellence and the quality of the responses to the online application form.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the form of reasonable discounts on published tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Global Futures Scholarships

Please follow the following application instructions to apply for Global Futures Scholarships:

  • you must be an international student residing in the next country in Africa: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa.
  • must accept a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time program in Manchester and submit an online scholarship application by June 19, 2022. The application form will be emailed to all eligible offer holders.
  • students will be awarded based on their academic performance and the quality of their scholarship applications.
  • must be self-funded (that is, unsponsored).
  • be an applicants for MBA, MPhil, Master of Architecture (MArch), Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscaping Architecture (MLA), Graduate School of Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry are not eligible.
