First Bank Graduate Trainee Programme Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the First Bank Graduate Trainee Programme, You must meet all of the following criteria:

  • B.Sc in Insurance, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics and other related courses are encouraged to apply. A second degree and any related professional qualifications would be of added advantage.
  • 27 years of age and below
  • Certificate of Completion from NYSC
  • MSc / MBA in Insurance, Finance, and related courses are encouraged to apply.

  • The programme aims to give successful applicants hands-on experience in the insurance industry.
  • Successful applicants are employed into the First Bank of Nigeria General Insurance.

First Bank Graduate Trainee Programme Application Procedure

First Level Screening:

  • At this level, the self-esteem, communication skills and self-confidence of all candidates are assessed through various channels. Candidates must also provide relevant qualification / certificate proof for verification.

Computer-based testing (CBT):

  • CBT is designed to test the linguistic, quantitative, spatial reasoning, and cognitive abilities of preselected candidates. General knowledge of global trends, developments and insights within the financial services sector related to economic development is tested.

Assessment Center:

  • Successful applicants for CBT are invited to the Assessment Center for the recruitment process. At this level, candidates are expected to demonstrate the key capabilities needed for a successful career in the industry.

Training Schools:

  • Applicants who pass the Assessment Center are enrolled in an intensive graduate training school program that exposes the practical, social and technical aspects of working in the industry.
